Our chosen charity for 2019 is…

In 2018, Knight Group supported Mid and North East Essex Mind, taking part in various different events and fundraisers, this included some of our colleagues taking part in RED January, bake sales, The May Day Run, monthly dress down days and our biggest event which was the Sky Dive. All together in 2018 we raised £5,082.97 for Mid and North East Essex Mind, an amazing contribution for the charity.

For 2019, Knight Group will be proudly supporting Farleigh Hospice. Farleigh Hospice have a calendar of events for 2019, which as a team we will be excited to get involved with and support Farleigh Hospice over the next coming year. Some of these include a Diamond Ball at Chelmsford City Racecourse, Gin Tasting, Quiz Night, Abseil in London, RideLondon100, a bubble rush and many more, so we have various different events we can get involved with and help support our new charity for the year, Farleigh Hospice.

We will keep you updated with any charity events we will be getting involved with throughout the year, don’t miss these by making sure to follow us on our social media pages; Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.

One of our team members Scott is running in the London Marathon at the end of April 2019, and is raising money for Farleigh Hospice, who have personally helped Scott and his family. Let’s help support Scott as much as we can by donating now to his JustGiving page, good luck Scott!

A little bit about Farleigh Hospice
Farleigh Hospice provide care for any illness that is considered life-limiting (including cancer, neurological diseases, and chronic heart, lunch and renal diseases), both in their inpatient unit and in patients home environments. They provide support for families and careers, and for people who have been bereaved.

With approximately 40% of their yearly running costs being funded by the local NHS, they reply on the support and goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to what it costs to provide their services each day.

We look forward to helping and supporting Farleigh Hospice over the next year, and hope you can support us too.
