Winners of the Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Award & Future Constructors Award

The National Considerate Constructors Scheme Ultra Site Awards took place on 18 July 2019. The awards recognise the top-performing Ultra Sites across 10 categories, each representing the key attributes of being an exceptional Ultra Site, from collaboration to community engagement, client recognition, and innovation.

Knight Group were nominated for 4 awards for the Ultra Site, West Suffolk Operational Hub, for our client Morgan Sindall, including Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Award; Future Constructors Award; Workforce Wellbeing Award and Collaboration Award.

Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Award

As a company, we pride ourselves on being able to give the same opportunities to all members of staff regardless of their race, gender or age. We value all of our staff and the different skills that can be shared. We are committed to ensuring everyone who works on our behalf is valued and respected. Our aim is to create an environment where our workforce looks forward to coming to work and that their individual efforts are acknowledged, appreciated and rewarded.

Future Constructors Award

As a company, we have a unique approach to promoting the industry. We do not limit ourselves to a source of “young” labour and encourage new opportunities to all. This ethos can be seen on all Knight Group projects and within our Head Office. On top of this, we also offer a wide variety of schemes to help people into the industry including our Trainee & Apprenticeship schemes. Our schemes are extremely successful, with constant support, encouragement, and mentorship, and this can be seen through the number of our staff who go on to have a long and successful career with Knight Group and go into senior management roles on-site and in our Head Office.
