Based at our Kelvedon premises, Knight Plant have a well-equipped workshop with in-house directly employed Plant, HGV & Vehicle Mechanic’s to ensure the continuous high standard of upkeep for our large fleet of Plant & Vehicles.

Knight Group operate a modern fleet of plant & machinery in excess of 1,000 items ranging from small breakers to 35-Ton Tracked Excavators.

With a strong and diverse fleet, owned and purchased outright, Knight Group have the capability to respond quickly to the needs of our business and that of our client’s. Our fleet includes a total of 90 Operated Tracked Excavators which are renewed at regular intervals, ensuring our fleet is modern, minimising downtime and ensuring we meet the highest levels of efficiency and productivity. The Knight Group asset list extends to in excess of 70 Forward Tipping Dumpers, Ride-On Rollers, Site Accommodation, Compressors and Small Tools Equipment.

Knight Group are at the forefront of Health & Safety when concerning Plant, Machinery & Transport. Our companies Safety Department works closely with the Plant & Transport Department to ensure we constantly succeed in exceeding the industry best practice. Ensuring continual adherence to legislation, policies and procedures for the safe operation of plant and machinery our operators are continually assessed and trained to the highest CITB, CPCS standards including for additional CITB Qualifications and in-house training conducted by our Safety and Plant Departments ensuring that knight plant is ready and safe to be deployed as required.

Knight Plant has extensive partnerships with other suppliers to ensure our fleet can be supplemented with specialist equipment when the need arises.
